The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Dutchess has hit 2,140, with 97 still hospitalized with the virus. The Department of Health is currently monitoring 1,879 active cases, and 233 patients have been treated and discharged from hospitals.
A breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Dutchess County as of 1 p.m. on Monday, April 20, according to the Department of Health:

- Poughkeepsie City: 225;
- Fishkill: 174;
- Wappinger: 153;
- East Fishkill: 151;
- Beacon City: 107;
- LaGrange: 106;
- Beekman: 87;
- Hyde Park: 80;
- Rhinebeck: 41;
- Union Vale: 41;
- Pleasant Valley: 40;
- Wappingers Falls Village: 40;
- Dover: 39;
- Pawling: 23;
- Red Hook: 21;
- Clinton: 16;
- Amenia: 13;
- Washington: 12;
- Pine Plains: 12;
- Rhinebeck Village: 11;
- Milan: 9;
- Stanford: 7.
There have been less than five cases reported in the Villages of Fishkill, Millbrook, Millerton, Pawling, Red Hook, Tivoli, and North East.
As of Monday, there have been 242,786 confirmed COVID-19 cases in New York State, which resulted in 13,896 deaths. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said that 16,303 COVID-19 patients are still hospitalized with the virus.
“That number is still horrifically high,” Cuomo said. “The optimist can look and say ‘well the hospitalizations are going down,’ but that’s still 478 New Yorkers who died from this terrible virus.”
